After calling in several favors yesterday, TeamSPEARHEAD got 8 Men to agree to take on this once in a lifetime opportunity. The team went into Mission Mode with a single purpose….Move the stack of lumber up to our new AO before the construction company takes our precious logs away. Many of you know how important Log PT is to the military and GORUCK training, so it was our duty to make sure the new site was fully stocked with nasty logs for us to carry, train with and hug from time to time.

AAR:
Great work out there moving as a team. That first log is now known as “Soul Crusher” and will only be used every now and then. It’s really nice to have it as it will provide us excellent preparation for the kinds of logs we carry in the challenge.
One take-away that we need to be thinking about is the height situation. Let’s research how we can best (and equally) distribute the weight for tall to short guys.
Thank you to all that came out today! We are officially “Moved In” to the new AO with our supplies in place. From here on out, we can focus on training up there.
Respectfully – Shawn K. aka The Hoff
